'Explore the influence of Islam on Music and describes the emergence of a 'new tradition' that adapts the religion praise song to sufism. The emerging tradition is discussed against the backdrop of social relations between religion and the people they praise. Together with Tujeri Shah we discuss the making for this hybrid musical genre that reflects the social and religious reality of modern world.' - KAEDLive!
